About participation in the ethno-festival «Alay Shyrdamaly»

On April 25, the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) took part in the «Alay Shyrdamaly» ethno-festival, dedicated to the 225th anniversary of Alymbek Datka. The event was organized at the initiative of the Deputy Chairman of the Council for sustainable development in the context of climate change, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Dinara Ashimova. Representatives of the Fund were Chairman of the Board Ulan Sarbanov and expert of the Credit and Investment Service Amantur Aidarov.
The event was attended by Secretary of State Suyunbek Kasmambetov, Advisor to the President Cholponbek Abykeyev, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Ainura Askarova, Ambassador of Turkey Ahmet Sadyk Dogan, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, members of the government, representatives of international and non-governmental organizations.
Guests got acquainted with the presented products and took part in presentations of mini projects on the development of traditional crafts, production of eco-products, beekeeping, wool and dairy products, berry growing and ecotourism for the purpose of further financial support.
The festival program included master classes on making shyrdaks and lectures on the meaning of national patterns and ornaments, each product telling its own story about the traditions of the kyrgyz people. An exhibition and sale of felt products, dairy products and honey brought from the Alai region was also organized.
