On participation in the second international conference on public-private partnership
September 28-29, the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (hereinafter referred as the Fund) participated the 2nd International Conference on Public-Private Partnerships (hereinafter referred as PPP). The Fund was represented by the Chairman Ulan Sarbanov and analyst Amantur Aidarov.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic - Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov delivered a welcoming speech at the opening of the conference. He emphasized that the conference take PPP to a new level, to attract foreign investors to implement large infrastructure projects in the fields of energy, education, transport, healthcare and other important socio-economic areas.
Also, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasized that this event will serve to develop interaction between the state and private business. He appealed to government agencies with a request to carefully study foreign experience in PPP and work to launch joint projects as soon as possible.
In turn, the director of the PPP Center in Kyrgyzstan, Sanzhar Bolotov, emphasized that the implementation of joint projects between the state and business plays a decisive role in the development of the economy and improving the quality of life of the population.
The conference speakers also included Country Director of the Asian Development Bank Mr. Zheng Wu, Country Manager of the World Bank Navid Hasan Naqvi, Director of the Green Energy Fund Emil Orozbaev, PPP expert Eldar Abakirov and others.
