Hungarian-Kyrgyz Food Industry Forum

On November 5, 2025, the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Food Industry Forum was held in Bishkek, in the Budapest conference hall. It was organized with the aim of establishing business contacts and developing cooperation between companies from Hungary and the Kyrgyz Republic in the food industry sector.

The forum opened with welcoming remarks from Sándor Dorogi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Kyrgyz Republic; Temir Sariev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic; and Mukhtar Chynaliev, Director of the Department of Processing Industry and Organic Agriculture of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund was represented at the event by Chairman of the Board Ulan Sarbanov and Deputy Chairman of the Board Kanat Kurmanov. During the official part of the forum, Ulan Sarbanov gave a presentation, providing an overview of the Fund's activities and key areas of support in the development and modernization of the food industry.

During the program, Hungarian companies Maurer Gép Kft., Pi Vision Holding Cozrt (trademark Kavali) and Unimatik Kft. presented their solutions and technologies, demonstrating modern equipment and technologies for the food industry. The event concluded with a series of B2B meetings, during which Kyrgyz and Hungarian entrepreneurs discussed opportunities for partnership, technology exchange, and investment projects.
