On the Meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Strategic Council

Ulan Sarbanov, Chairman of the Board of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, participated in the 5th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Strategic Council on bilateral political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation on October 17. The council was co-chaired by Szijjártó Péter, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, and Jeenbek Kulubayev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations and summarized the results of the previous 4th meeting. Ulan Sarbanov, Chairman of the Board of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, provided a separate report on the current state and prospects of the Fund's work.

Following the talks, two documents were signed: the Protocol of the 5th Meeting of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Strategic Council and a Roadmap for Bilateral Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary for the period 2026–2028.
