Hungarian–Kyrgyz Development Fund participated in Bishkek Snow Leopard Run 2025

Bishkek successfully hosted the country’s main marathon — Bishkek Snow Leopard Run 2025 empowered by Visa. The international charity race brought together thousands of participants and took place along the central streets of the capital — Chui Avenue, Y. Abdrakhmanov Street, the Residence (VDNKh), Ch. Aitmatov Avenue.

It should be recalled that by Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 369 of December 29, 2023, the snow leopard was declared the national symbol of the country. This decision was aimed at consolidating efforts for its protection, popularization, and use in cultural diplomacy. On the basis of this decree, the International Snow Leopard Day was established, initiated by President Sadyr Japarov and supported by the UN General Assembly.

In support of this initiative and to promote a healthy lifestyle, the team of the Hungarian–Kyrgyz Development Fund also took part in the marathon. The Fund’s employees emphasized that participation in such projects not only strengthens corporate spirit but also promotes the values of sports, unity, and care for nature.
