On participation in the Bishkek International Financial Forum BIFF-2025

The Bishkek International Financial Forum BIFF-2025, dedicated to the theme "Innovation, digital transformation and sustainable development: the future of the financial ecosystem", ended in Bishkek. The event brought together leading experts from several countries in the field of finance, technology, public policy and international cooperation.
The following addressed the participants with welcoming speeches: • Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic; • Melis Turgunbaev, Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic; • Evgeny Lisnyak, Senior Director of Visa, Head of the Department of Strategic Partnerships, Fintech and Joint Projects in the Region of Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus; • Valery Zubanov, Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab in Central Asia and Mongolia.
The speakers emphasized the importance of sustainable development, strengthening digital transformation and creating a modern, secure and accessible financial environment. Kanat Kurmanov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, took part in the forum on behalf of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
The plenary session covered key areas of development in the financial sector: • application of AI, blockchain and big data technologies in financial transactions; • cybersecurity and digital risk management; • ensuring financial inclusion through digital solutions; • development of digital assets and mechanisms for their regulation; • strengthening cooperation between government agencies and businesses. • digital payments for individuals and SMEs; • potential for the development of digital assets and crypto markets; • challenges of cyber threats and counteracting fraud.
Of particular interest was the CBATS meeting, where the legal and regulatory aspects of virtual assets were discussed. The meeting was attended by representatives of banking associations from Azerbaijan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Northern Cyprus.
