On the 2nd Hungarian-Kyrgyz Water Technology Forum
The 2nd Hungarian-Kyrgyz Water Technology Forum took place today in Bishkek, in the "Budapest" conference hall of the Hungarian Embassy. The forum was organized to establish and develop business connections between relevant companies from Hungary and the Kyrgyz Republic.
The forum's opening remarks were delivered by Zsolt Maris, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Hungary in Bishkek, and Baktybek Anarkulov, Deputy Director of the Water Resources Service under the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The forum served as a platform for exchanging experiences, presenting advanced technologies, and forging new partnerships between specialized enterprises from both countries. The Hungarian side was represented by leading companies in the sector, including H2O Consortium, A-Hid Zrt., Realiscon Kft., Water & Soil, and Art Work Design Kft. The heads of these companies gave presentations on projects implemented in Eastern Europe, Asia, and Africa, and shared information about their manufactured equipment and modern technologies. Adilet Abdybekov, Director of the Grundfos representative office in the Kyrgyz Republic, also spoke at the event, providing a video presentation on equipment produced at their Hungarian plant.
The Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund was represented at the forum by Ulan Sarbanov, Chairman of the Board, who presented on financing conditions, and Kanat Kurmanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board. At the forum, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed, confirming the parties' intent to develop cooperation and implement joint projects between the Hungarian company Water & Soil and the production and service cooperative "Manzini" on modern water usage technologies in agriculture. Additionally, participants from both the Hungarian and Kyrgyz sides had the opportunity to hold B2B meetings.
The successful holding of the 2nd Hungarian-Kyrgyz Water Technology Forum demonstrated both countries' interest and readiness for practical cooperation in the fields of water resources, sustainable agriculture, and related technological solutions.
