Meeting of HKDF with the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences MATE

April 03, at the office of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (further – Fund) there was a meeting between the Fund staff and representatives of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences “MATE”.

The purpose of the visit of representatives of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences “MATE” to the Kyrgyz Republic was a meeting with representatives of the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after. K.I. Scriabin and the development of academic and scientific cooperation between the two educational institutions, as well as the strengthening of Hungarian-Kyrgyz relations in the field of agriculture and agricultural sciences.

The meeting was attended by: Director of the Directorate of International Relations and Development of the University “MATE” – David Bekesi; Deputy Director of the Directorate of International Relations and Development of the University “MATE” – Gergo Peter Kovacs; Vice-Rector for International Relations and Investment Attraction of the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after. K.I. Scryabina – Tolobekova Aizhan Muratbekovna; Commercial attaché of the Hungarian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic – Andrej Bukai. During the meeting, the parties noted the importance of partnership for the further development of agricultural sciences in Kyrgyzstan, the importance of relations for improving agricultural practices and knowledge exchange between countries. And also, the priority of joint efforts aimed at ensuring food security, environmental stability and combating climate change.

Representatives of the Foundation at the meeting were: Chairman of the Board – Ulan Sarbanov; Deputy Chairman of the Board – Kanat Kurmanov; Member of the Board – Nagira Sharsheeva; Expert of the lending and investment service – Melis Kyshtoobekov.
