Meeting with the country office of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations

A meeting with representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) was held at the office of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund. Ulan Sarbanov, Chairman of the fund's Board, and Urmat Kydyrganov, Manager of the Financial and Analytics Service, took part in the discussion. Oleg Guchgeldyev, Representative in the Kyrgyz Republic, and Kanykey Ulan kyzy, Acting Assistant Representative, represented FAO.

During the meeting, key areas of FAO activity were discussed, including support for small businesses in livestock and agriculture and the organization's current programs in Kyrgyzstan. The parties expressed interest in establishing cooperation. FAO representatives familiarized themselves with the financing conditions and criteria for selecting projects of the Fund and presented their initiatives aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and rural producers. An agreement was reached to develop possible mechanisms of interaction and further exchange of information to determine specific areas of cooperation.
