About participation in the National Water Forum

The Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (hereinafter - the Fund) participates in the National Water Forum ‘Water Resources Management of the Kyrgyz Republic under Climate Change and Lake Issyk-Kul Conservation’ (hereinafter - the Forum), which is held in the Baitur guesthouse, Issyk-Kul region. The Foundation is represented by Kanat Kurmanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board.

The event is organised by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the World Bank.

Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, made a welcoming speech. The purpose of the Forum is rational use of water resources of the Kyrgyz Republic and preservation of Lake Issyk-Kul under climate change conditions.

Among the speakers of the Forum are Ulanbek Daliev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Issyk-Kul region, representatives of ministries of the Kyrgyz Republic, international experts, as well as representatives of the UN and the World Bank in the Kyrgyz Republic, and others.
