On the extraordinary fifteenth meeting of the Council of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund
On October 31, 2024, in Bishkek, under the chair of the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev, an extraordinary 15th meeting of the Council of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) was held. The meeting opened by introducing a new Council member - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Temirbek Erkinov. The 15th meeting was attended by the acting member of the Council, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbek Akzholov, and the Hungarian side represented by Deputy Chairman of the Council Nyitrai Zoltán and member of the Council Vanyik János.
The Fund's Council approved both the amendments to the Credit and Investment Policy and the credit line in the amount of 14,000,000 (fourteen million) US dollars for the construction of the small hydroelectric power station "Kara Shoro" with a capacity of 15.6 MW. Reports on the agenda items were presented by the Chairman of the Board of the Fund Ulan Sarbanov and Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Fund Kanat Kurmanov. Nurbek Azygaliev, expert of the Credit and Investment Administration Service, and Urmat Kydyrganov, manager of the Finance and Analytics Service, were invited to the meeting.
