On participation in the regional forum "Organic Expo - Central Asia 2024"

The Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) took part in the regional forum "Organic Expo - Central Asia 2024" (hereinafter referred to as the Forum). The representative of the Fund was the expert of the Credit and Investment Service Amantur Aidarov.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the secretariat of the special representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic for the implementation of the Five-Year Action Plan for the Development of Mountain Regions.

Before the Forum, a fair - exhibition of organic products and technologies of manufacturers from Central Asian countries was organized. Also, within the framework of the fair - exhibition, master classes on the production and tasting of environmentally friendly products will be held.

The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov, the Special Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic for the Implementation of the Five Years of Action for the Development of Mountain Regions Dinara Kemelova and others delivered welcoming remarks at the opening of the fair and exhibition.

The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev delivered welcoming remarks with a video message at the opening of the Forum.

The objectives of the Forum were:

1. Creation of a dialogue platform for the formation of sustainable mutually beneficial relations between producers and consumers of organic agricultural products, state and international partners, experts in Central Asia, and the construction of a trade and communication platform;

2. Realization of the potential of the organic movement for development and strengthening of mutually beneficial partnerships between organic producers, as one of the successful world experiences in achieving sustainable development, as well as the development of mountain regions on the principles of the "Green Economy" in the context of climate change in Central Asia.
