On participation in the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Water Resources Management Forum

The 1st Hungarian-Kyrgyz Water Resources Management Forum was held in Bishkek on May 14. The forum was organized by the Embassy of Hungary in the Kyrgyz Republic, the organizer was supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, as well as by Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic in Hungary and by the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.

The purpose of the forum is to establish business contacts between Hungarian companies and organizations and enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic in the water supply and water treatment sector. The Hungarian side was represented by the management of five companies: A-Híd Zrt. (transport and municipal construction), Pólus Kft. (design, supply of equipment and capital construction in the food, processing and agricultural industries, utilities, energy, healthcare, commercial real estate and residential buildings), Hungarian Water Technology Corporation Ltd (design and implementation of drinking water purification systems, construction of sewage treatment plants, production of container mobile water treatment complexes and compact wastewater treatment plants, membrane desalination plants and industrial wastewater recycling technologies), Realiscon Kft. (engineering services for water treatment and water supply projects, environmental protection, landscape design and commercial real estate), Art Work Design Kft. (creation of software for water supply facilities).

On behalf of the kyrgyz side, representatives of the Water Resources Service under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, Bishkek City mayor's office, the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Issyk-Kul region, POD "Bishkekvodokanal", Taza Suu, Association of Renewable Energy Sources, LLC "Techno Center" and CAI Consulting took part in the forum. The forum was attended by Shandor Dorogi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Kyrgyz Republic, Choro Seyitovich Seyitov, First Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Nazgul Malabayeva, representative of the Chamber of Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic in Hungary. The Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund was represented by Ulan Sarbanov, Chairman of the Management Board, and Kanat Kurmanov, member of the Management Board. This forum provided an opportunity to meet with representatives of Hungarian companies who arrived in Bishkek to discuss opportunities for cooperation and partnership and present their best practices and experience in technology, sustainable development and efficiency improvement in the water supply and water treatment sector. The forum hosted meetings in the B2B format.
