About participation in the forum on solid waste processing
On April 20, the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) took part in the largest forum on solid waste processing «Green Waste EXPO Forum 2024: Effective waste management opens up new opportunities». The representative of the Fund was expert of the Credit and Investment Service Amantur Aidarov.
Chairman of the Business Association JIA Zhoodar Omoshov and Country Director of Accelerate Prosperity Zhyldyz Isabekova delivered a welcoming speech at the opening of the event.The purpose of the forum was to discuss the problems of the sector and find effective solutions. Representatives of government agencies, international organizations, activists and green economy experts took part in the panel discussion. Issues were raised on waste management in the context of global climate change, discussion of policies and best practices, future scenarios in the solid waste sector, searching for new partners, as well as establishing close interaction between government agencies, international organizations and the business sector for the sustainable development of the waste management sector.
Among the speakers were Jogorku Kenesh deputy Chingiz Aidarbekov, head of the strategic planning department of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce Ermek Ashyrov, director of the Tazalyk ME Ramiz Aliyev and others.
