About participation in the event “about women in the development of intellectual property and innovation”
On February 1, 2024, the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) took part in the event “on the role of women in the development of intellectual property and innovation”, organized by the State Agency for Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter referred to as Kyrgyzpatent). The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic – Edil Baisalov and representatives of international donor organizations operating in Kyrgyzstan, ministries, higher educational institutions and the private sector. The representative of the Fund was analyst Kyshtoobekov Melis Zhamgyrbekovich.
The director of Kyrgyzpatent, Kerimbaeva Rakhat Topchubaevna, delivered a welcoming speech at the opening of the conference. She noted that Kyrgyzpatent supports young creative individuals through projects such as “40 districts – 40 initiatives”, “Startup students”, “Startup Nation”. And also through a competition on the theme “The image of women in science, invention and innovation” which is held annually. In addition, she shared information about other projects being implemented at the institution.
Representatives of other international organizations also spoke at the meeting: UN Women, the Aga Khan Foundation and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), who noted the importance of work in this direction and the readiness to jointly implement projects.
