- Ganz is a 100% Hungarian-owned, multi-product, multi-solutions company that exists for more than 140 years and that built the first transformer in the world in 1884. Our company manufactures unique high-voltage electrical equipment – transformers, motors and generators – as well as provides related services. Our brand-new smart monitoring system, Ganz Intelligent Solution is aimed to bring a new era to manufacturing and maintaining power transformers in a sustainable way. Power Transformer The transformers business unit is specilized designing, manufacturing and testing transformers for several applications in a wide range of powers from 40 to 500 MVA up to 800 kV voltage levels. Rotating Machines Ganz manufactures a wide range of medium and high voltage motors and synchronous generators. The BU is specializing the design, manufacture and testing of MV & HV asynchronous motors from 500 kW to 20 MW and synchronous generators from 1000 kVA to 70 MVA. Service Ganz Service Division maintains, refurbishes and repairs transformers, motor, generators, air- and gas-insulated switchgear (AIS and GIS) and substations worldwide. As a total solution provider, we also deliver lifetime extension programs supported by condition- based monitoring systems, as well as numerous accessories and spare parts for all equipment. Ganz Intelligent Solution In 2022 our company introduced a brand-new monitoring system, Ganz Intelligent Solutions that is designed to monitor the status and operation of the transformer units, increasing their reliability and lifetime, helping to avoid unnecessary maintenance. With this sustainable development, we are producing digitalized transformers with a complete monitoring system, as well as customized monitoring devices according to our customer's request, and transformers with sensors integrated for future installations.
