Team from Kyrgyzstan at the Informatics Olympiad became the best among Central Asian countries
The Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund congratulates the team members from Kyrgyzstan who became winners of the XXXV International Olympiad in Informatics, which was held from August 28 to September 4 this year in the city of Szeged (Hungary). We wish all the winners, team members, teachers and supervisor good health and further success in their studies and work.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, 355 students from 90 countries took part in the Olympiad.
Let us remind you that four students from Kyrgyzstan became winners of this Olympiad:
- Aidar Munduzbaev, 11th grade graduate of the Bishkek Lyceum named after. Ch. Aitmatova – silver medal;
- Tengiz Bekkoyonov, 11th grade graduate of the Jalal-Abad Lyceum named after. Kurmanbek Baatyr - bronze medal;
- Alikhan Aidarbekov, 10th grade student of the Naryn Lyceum named after. M. Subakozhoeva – bronze medal;
- Baytoro Mayrambekov, 11th grade student of the Talas Lyceum “Manas-Ata” – Certificate of Honor.
The teacher who prepared the students is Kylychbek Uraimov, and the leader of the national team was Pavel Pankov.
For reference:
- As you know, according to the memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of External Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary on cooperation within the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum program for 2022-2024, 200 budget places for studying in Hungarian universities were provided for Kyrgyzstanis in Hungarian or English for bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs.
